Our Process

• Scientific Calibration performs a 10 point inspection on all pipettes.
• Each technician will replace any seals and o’rings that are showing wear.
• Each pipette is pre-checked three times before any adjustments are made.
• After the corrections are made each pipette is calibrated.
• Five tests are performed at low end and high end. With multi-channel pipette, each channel is pre-checked three times before any adjustments are made.
• After corrections are made one channel is used (middle typically), five test are performed at low end, middle point, and high end.

On-Site

Scientific Calibration has a 100 pipette minimum for on-site calibration for companies out of our local 45 mile radius. For those within the 45 mile radius there is a 20 pipette minimum. There is also a travel expense added to the on site calibration outside our local area.

Mail In

Scientific Calibration also offers a mail in program in which eliminates the need for travel expenses. There is not a minimum amount for our mail in program. Our technicians are able to turn these calibrations around within 24-48 hours of receiving the pipettes. The mail in program helps those who can’t send in all their pipettes at one time.

Scientific Calibration offers a no worries approach to calibration, validation, and preventive maintenance by sending you an alert when your calibration, validation, and preventive maintenance are due. We will keep track of the calibrations so you will have one less thing to worry about.
